    Grounded Flooring is experienced in floating, direct stick, and nailing installations.

    • Floating floorboards are installed over an underlay that rests on the subfloor, using a tongue-groove or click-and-lock system. Floating floorboards are not fastened directly to the subfloor.
    • Direct stick installation involves each floorboard being glued onto the subfloor, usually concrete or timber. For certain flooring types and substrates, the direct stick method may be combined with nailing for increased stability.
    • Nailing is perfect for installing over timber subfloors or battens. While the nail-down method will keep the timber firmly pressed against the subfloor, the floorboards are often also glued down for increased stability.

    Engineered timber

    Solid timber

    Solid timber flooring consists of floorboards cut and shaped from natural hardwood logs. There is a variety of different solid timber flooring, depending on the type of tree the floorboards are made from. Hardwood flooring is incredibly durable, long-lasting, and shows off the natural patterns in the wood grain.

    Vinyl planks

    Vinyl planks are a type of synthetic flooring made from PVC instead of wood. Vinyl planks are completely waterproof, making them an optimal choice for both residential and commercial spaces. Vinyl planks are anti-slip, affordable, and easy to maintain.

    Hybrid flooring

    Hybrid flooring is a layered combination of four different materials, blending the top qualities of vinyl planks, hardwood, and laminates. Hybrid floorboards are temperature stable, sound dampening, and scratch-resistant.
